I run a programme of scheduled trips through the year. The current dates are listed in Japanese, so the easiest way is to ask me directly what is coming up.

Guiding Services

I run scheduled trips and private guiding for small groups, so that everyone can enjoy the mountains safely. The figures below are the maximum number of clients per guide.

Summer season, technical alpine routes (rock ridges)

Summer season, standard routes (hiking and trekking)

Guiding Fees

Private guiding, per day	¥30,000 to ¥40,000
Scheduled trips, per day	¥10,000 to ¥30,000

• The fee does not change with the number of people on the trip.
• The fee may change depending on the difficulty of the mountain.
• My accommodation on the night before, mountain hut fees and transport costs are explained to you when you enquire.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel for reasons of your own, the cancellation fees below apply to the guiding fee, for private guiding and scheduled trips alike. Please read them before you book.

Where the mountain or the style of the trip makes this schedule a poor fit, I will take the circumstances into account.

• If we set out and then have to turn back because of weather or route conditions, half the daily guiding fee is charged for each day.

Equipment Rental

The equipment you need depends on the trip and the location. If you do not have your own, some items can be rented. Photographs are for illustration only.

Stock and sizes are limited, so please ask early if you would like to rent anything.

Before You Book

Mountain rescue insurance and personal accident or liability cover must be arranged by you.
Your personal details may be used to prepare the climbing plan submitted to the authorities. They are handled with care and disposed of properly.
